LEXAN™ UV resistance plastic sheets

Based on high-performance LEXAN resin, SABIC's transparent UV-resistant plastic sheets offer excellent clarity, attractive aesthetic properties, and high impact strength. They are also easy to design and form. The sheets combine excellent impact performance and stiffness with thermoforming or cold forming ease. Solid sheet

Virtually unbreakable, high optical quality LEXAN™ solid sheets combine crystal clear transparency with UV-resistant plastic. The plastic solid sheets feature outstanding low ripple and distortion and low optical defects. LEXAN solid sheets, in transparent or opal white colour, come with UV resistance on one or both sides and provide remarkable clarity, even after many years of exposure to intense sunlight.

UV Protected sheet

SABIC’s virtually unbreakable, transparent LEXAN UV protected plastic sheets provide remarkable clarity and have excellent weathering properties. These virtually indestructible, transparent, polycarbonate plastic sheets come with UV resistance on one or both sides and provide excellent clarity - even after many years of intense sunlight and weather extremes.

MARGARD™ Coated sheet

SABIC’s lightweight coated LEXAN MARGARD™ sheet is one of our safe polycarbonate glazing UV resistant plastic solutions. LEXAN MARGARD plastic sheet offers optical clarity combined with anti-fog behaviour and UV resistance. The MARGARD sheet is highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals and has excellent weathering properties. The MARGARD plastic sheet is also flame resistant and heat-stable. This makes it an ideal candidate for safety and security glazing to suit various applications. 

EXTRITE™ sheet

LEXAN™ EXTRITE™ sheets are transparent, solid plastic sheets with proprietary UV resistance, offering excellent weathering properties. The plastic sheet is a perfect candidate for various  building and construction and other glazing applications. The material fulfils a demand for areas where abrasion, scratch resistance, and weathering are essential to the new protective layer. The intrinsic properties of plastic sheets combined with a one-side protective layer improve abrasion and chemical resistance. 

Sign sheet

SABIC’s LEXAN sign sheets are UV-resistant plastics that help customers create bright, durable signage. The plastic sheets provide high-impact strength and high-light transmission. Solar Control sheet

SABIC’s LEXAN solar control sheets are virtually unbreakable UV-resistant plastic and provide easy installation and forming. The solar control plastic sheets for heat-management block near-infrared heat but let in high light levels. Proprietary resin additives manage the heat rather than expensive and fragile coatings. This makes the solar control plastic properties virtually permanent. Plastic sheets are UV protected on both sides, which helps installers reduce losses caused by installation errors.

Corrugated sheet

SABIC’s LEXAN corrugated sheets deliver excellent light transmission, high impact resistance and weather ability. Our LEXAN™ THERMOCLEAR™ polycarbonate multiwall sheet portfolio consists of different structures. The UV-resistant plastic can provide an outstanding balance of lightweight, high impact strength and stiffness. In addition, it offers excellent thermal insulation, flame resistance and long-term light transmission. THERMOCLEAR sheet is available in clear, opal white, solar control and other custom colours. THERMOCLEAR also comes in various speciality finishes, such as the Easy Clean or Dripgard coatings, to allow sheets to be easily cleaned or prevent the formation of condensation.
