Protective display materials

LEXAN™ film 

SABIC LEXAN films are high-quality thermoplastic films with applications across many industries. LEXAN film provides outstanding optical quality, and specialised functionality for in-mould decoration (IMD) overlays in consumer electronics applications like a smartphone- and computer screens. LEXAN™ sheets 

Especially in the safety and security segment, customers demand screens that offer protection and safety. Burglary, terrorism, violence, and natural disasters are all-too-familiar threats. The risk of injury, theft or damage is much higher with property using unprotected screens. 

SABIC offers LEXAN solid sheets for safety glazing. High optical quality, virtually unbreakable LEXAN sheets are excellent candidates for bulletproof laminates, anti-burglary, and anti-vandal glazing. The impact-resistant, bullet-resistant, and puncture-resistant screens can help protect premises and property and eliminate re-glazing costs. 

Virtually unbreakable LEXAN™ MARGARD™ sheets are an excellent choice in areas where there’s a risk of vandalism. These anti-vandal glazing can help prevent burglars from breaking in, delaying them to a point where they give up or are detected. This high-security glazing protects premises and property. They also allow frequent cleaning or damage-free removal of graffiti.
